A very insightful blog post at the Arts and Ideas website not only describes a performance of Meter Theater, but offers a number of insightful observations about the artistic mission of the project. From the article:

Meter Theater forces you to consider the boundaries of theater and how to expand them. Meter Theater seems to operate on the principle that when restricted--whether physically by the constraints of a parking space, or temporally by the timed meter--art has the greatest potential for freedom and creativity.
