NHTC Presents Glengarry Glen Ross

Buy Tickets Now!Tickets are only $10. NHTC will produce Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet, Thursday thru Sunday May 7 to May 24 at 8:00pm at 45 Church St., New Haven, CT. This unique site-specific production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama deals with money, greed, job loss and the elusive American Dream.

Talk of money returns to the former bank building located at 45 Church Street in New Haven. However, this time, the bitingly comic words written by Mamet will be given voice by a group of experienced local actors. As a distinct departure from its typical performance venues, Glengarry Glen Ross will be staged by the New Haven Theater Company in the beautiful lobby of 45 Church Street, the iconic Greek revival-style bank building. Built in 1907, the building was most recently home to Wachovia Bank’s flagship branch in New Haven. The space was made available to the theater group by the property’s new owners, the Rose Smart Growth Investment Fund I, L.P. and Hurley 45-55 Church Street, LLC. Acquired in December 2008, the new owners are currently repositioning and greening the property as the preferred downtown New Haven alternative for commercial, institutional, retail and cultural tenants interested in leasing green office, retail, restaurant, educational, performance or cultural space.

The cast for Glengarry Glen Ross includes Ian Alderman (New Haven), Peter Chenot (New Haven), Erich Greene (New Haven), George Kulp (North Haven), Steve Scarpa (New Haven), J. Kevin Smith (Norwalk) and Mike Smith (Hamden). Stage Manager is Jessica Peiffer, with the direction and design of T. Paul Lowry (New Haven).
