And Now... Another Brief Intermission.

We were thrilled to welcome you back to New Haven Theater Company in November for our first production of the 2021-22 season, our workshop reading of an original script, Bleecker and Will by playwright and company member Steven Scarpa. Your response was heartwarming. Thank you for your support!

Unfortunately Under Milk Wood has been postponed.

We were optimistic that we would be able to continue gathering in person this winter, but unfortunately the Omicron variant had other ideas. Due to the surge in cases, and with an abundance of caution for your health and safety, as well as that of our Company Members and Guest Performers who have been working virtually on the play, we made the decision to postpone and reschedule our staged reading of Under Milk Wood.

We have not decided on the new dates for Under Milk Wood yet. That decision will be based on case number data in New Haven, in Connecticut and in the Region. When it is safe to gather again, we will announce the new dates for the show. Those with reservations for one of our performances will be contacted first and given the opportunity to move your reservation to the corresponding night in the new weekend. All performances for the workshop reading of Under Milk Wood will be free of charge, but donations are always welcome and appreciated.

Our previously scheduled, but unannounced, production for the Winter slot will be rescheduled for our Spring time slot this May. More information will be available during the next few weeks.

For your safety, and the safety of our cast and crew, COVID protocols will remain in place when we return and we will continue to monitor and update these as the season continues in accordance with local, state and CDC guidelines. We thank you for continuing to support the arts, and we hope that you and your family are doing well in these challenging times.

We believe we will be able to return soon. We can’t wait to see you then at New Haven Theater Company –
IN PERSON!

The current version of the New Haven Theater Company has been entertaining audiences since 2009.  Our audience has become our family.  In the coming year we will all need family and the theatre more than ever and NHTC needs you.  Buy a ticket, tell a friend, donate what you are able, spread the word! We look forward to seeing old and new faces as we open our doors and navigate this new theater world.  We will come together, under the stage lights, to share our stories, to laugh and cry, to explore the many worlds that theater can create. Can't wait to see you there. - Many Thanks - The New Haven Theater Company
