Welcome Back!
The intermission is over and we are thrilled to welcome you back to New Haven Theater Company for our 2021/2022 season. Our first production will be a workshop reading of an original script, Bleecker and Will by playwright and company member Steven Scarpa. We will follow that with a workshop reading of the funny and charming “play for voices” Under Milk Wood by the iconic Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. We will round out our “coming out” season with two fully staged productions to be announced soon.
For your safety, and the safety of our cast and crew, COVID protocols are in place and we will continue to monitor and update these as the season continues in accordance with local, state and CDC guidelines. We thank you for continuing to support the arts, and we hope that you and your family are doing well in these challenging times.
We are excited to be back on stage and we can’t wait to see you at New Haven Theater Company –
IN PERSON – and soon!

Bleeker and Will

Bleecker lives in his store. Will barks into his cell, to make more money for his boss. A chance meeting turns into an ongoing banter about life and how to live it. This new play by longtime NHTC member Steve Scarpa explores what it takes for strangers to become a family.
